Italian bishops: 100 clerical abuse allegations in 10 years

Bishop Mariano Crociata, the secretary general of the Italian bishops’ conference, announced on May 25 that 100 clerical abuse allegations have led to canonical procedures, including trials, in the past decade. Bishop Crociata decline to say how many of the priests were eventually laicized.
