Christian women battered by violence in Orissa

Christian women have borne the brunt of anti-Christian violence in India's Kandhamal region. A new study records the level of violence-- evident in beatings, kidnappings, sexual assaults, and verbal attacks-- that Christian women have endured during the anti-Christian campaigns in the Orissa state.
