Pope's schedule for June visit to Cyprus

The Vatican has released the full schedule for the visit by Pope Benedict XVI to Cyprus, taking place June 4 to 6.
Leaving Rome on Friday morning, June 4, the Holy Father will arrive in Paphos at 2 in the afternoon. After an airport welcome ceremony he will participate in an ecumenical service at the Agia Kiriaki Chrysopolitissa church.
On Saturday, June 5, the Pope will meet with President Dimitris Christopfias at the presidential palace in Nicosia, and address civic leaders there. Next he will speak to the Catholics of Nicosia, at a local soccer field. In the afternoon he will visit the Orthodox Archbishop Chrysostomoms II. Finally he will celebrate Mass at the Holy Cross parish church.
On Sunday, June 6 the Pontiff will celebrate Mass at the Eleftheria arena, and will release the instrumentum laboris, or working paper, for the Synod of Bishops for the Middle East. After lunch with the bishops responsible for coordinating that Synod meeting, he will visit the Maronite Catholic cathedral before he heads to the airport for his return flight to Rome. He is scheduled to arrive in Rome late Sunday night.
