Congo: archbishop describes Easter rebel attacks

April 09, 2010

Archbishop Joseph Kumuondala Mbimba of Mbandaka, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, has provided a vivid account of a rebel attack on local parishes. Rebel activity in the northern Congo continues to destabilize the country, prompting fears of even wider fighting.
