Man attacks German bishop during Easter Sunday Mass
April 05, 2010
A mentally disturbed man attacked Bishop Felix Genn of Münster during Easter Sunday Mass. Running towards the altar with a broomstick in hand, the man knocked over a candle before turning on the bishop, who defended himself with a censer. After altar servers and others wrestled the man to the ground and police arrived, the Mass continued without incident.
