Nursing program director at Maine Catholic college worked for Planned Parenthood

A nursing faculty member at a Maine Catholic college has worked as an adult nurse practitioner at Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, according to the college’s web site. Dr. Lois Hamel, an obsetrics/gynecology nurse, also serves as the director of online nursing programs at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine.

Founded in 1912 by the Sisters of Mercy, the college has 2,758 students, 1,905 of them undergraduates.
