Abortion lobby uses Haitian tragedy for fundraising plea

The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) responded to the devastating earthquake in Haiti with a plea for emergency funding, announcing a special mission to support family-planning clinics in the impoverished country. The IPPF approach contrasted with that taken by pro-life activists, who sent a medical team to Port au Prince to help women preparing for childbirth under extremely difficult conditions.
