CWN Editor's Note: A German bishop has suggested that if their nation’s episcopal conference cannot reach consensus on allowing Protestants to receive Communion, different dioceses will set their own standards. Bishop Peter Kohlgraf of Mainz added, however, that such a split would “further increase incomprehension” among the faithful. He argued strongly for adoption of the policy already approved by a majority of German bishops, voicing his impatience with those who suggest the policy is “out of line with Church teaching.”

Sounds like another revolt by German bishops against the Church. The teachings are clear. Many of these bishopswant chaos. Without clarity by the Pope this chaos will continue and infect other teaching. The devil is clearly at work. Jesus and Mary help us.
