Does Notre Dame teach the truth to its students or not? At least the pro-lifers standing outise won't be protesting President Trumps speech like they were in 2009.

"The invitation that Notre Dame extended to President Obama in 2009 caused 'a bit of a political circus.' He suggested that 'should the new president come, it may be even more of a circus.'" This is hilarious. A standing ovation for a guy who demands that all semblances of Catholicism be covered up before he will set foot on campus; yet the president elect, who has a Catholic advisory group, will cause "more of a circus." Look inward, Fr. Jenkins, and remove the mote from the offending eye.

That 2009 "bit of a political circus" was caused by Obama's stance on abortion and gay marriage being at total odds with the Catholic faith. President-elect Donald Trump is promising a return to the ideals of respect for human life and religious liberty. Unlike Obama, Trump actually deserves to be invited by a Catholic University.

Fr. Jenkins, just let us know when your students (and their generous parents) approve of an invitation to Trump. Teaching the respect for authority and the Constitution might be more than they could take, and we wouldn't want to upset the little dears now, would we?
