Cardinal Marx urges Europe to remain unified on accepting migrants

Cadrinal Reinhard Marx of Munich is urging German leaders to "stand together" in the face of popular protests against the government's decision to accept one million applicants for asylum.

Cardinal Marx said that European nations in general should adopt a unified strategy toward migrants, avoiding temptations toward a new nationalism or the creation of new walls to keep our foreigners. He said there are "no simple solutions" to the crisis of migration.
