Church in Poland aided 2.9 million in 2015

Catholic parishes, religious congregations, and other institutions in Poland offered charitable assistance to 2.9 million people in 2015, according to L’Osservatore Romano.

The nation has 38.5 million people.

Among the Catholic institutions are 494 centers for the disabled, 457 food banks, 416 health care centers, and 404 homes for the elderly.
