Two men arrested for flying drone over Vatican

December 28, 2015

Two men have been arrested by police in Rome and charged with flying a drone over the Vatican.

The air space above the Vatican was declared a no-fly zone during the Jubilee Year. Police said that two men, who are Israeli citizens, were operating a drone with a high-resolution camera over St. Peter's Square on December 27. They will likely face criminal charges.
