OSCE raps Vatican prosecution of 'Vatileaks' journalists

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe has criticized the Vatican for bringing criminal charges against journalists in connection with the publication of confidential documents.
“Journalists must be free to report on issues of public interest and to protect their confidential sources,” argued OSCE spokesman Dunja Mijatovic. Citing OSCE accords on the rights of the press, Mijatovic called upon the Vatican to withdraw charges against the journalists
