‘France cannot give in,’ EU bishops’ commission says in statement
November 17, 2015
The Commission of the Bishops’ Conferences of the European Community (COMECE) has issued a statement in response to the terrorist attacks in Paris.
“France cannot give in to campaigns of terror or violent attack, nor can Europe,” said Father Patrick Daly, COMECE’s general secretary.
He added:
Barbarism such as we have witnessed in Paris calls for a response from the civilized world. It is to be hoped that Europe is up to providing the response required. It is vital that Europe presents a united front to the terrorist threat, that it be united too in its foreign and defense policy. The forces which currently threaten Europe do not respect national borders. It is imperative that the 28 member states of the EU act together more effectively. Our collective security is at issue, as is our freedom to live together in peace.

Is not inviting hundreds of thousands of Muslims into Europe a form of "giving in" to the Islamic attacks on the West, part of the jihad which is intended to make all the world Muslim?

They have already "given in". For the Church and Francis believes so to state that Islam is a parallel religion to Christianity is only asking for trouble. The barbarians are no longer at the gates. They are inside the city and the Church is throwing gasoline on the spark of activism. Do you throw away the vision of Charlesmagne? This was JPIIs vision as well. With Francis, there is an altogether different story. There are "termites" in the Church and all Francis says is "who am I to judge".
