Report: Cardinal Parolin to represent Vatican at UN climate-change conference

Citing Vatican sources, the I.Media agency has reported that Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s Secretary of State, will represent the Holy See at the opening of COP21, the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris.
The report, if borne out, is an additional indication of the high level of importance that the Vatican attributes to the conference proceedings.
