Catholics attacked in Bangladesh

A mob of Muslims burned down the homes of four Catholic families in a Bangladeshi village, according to a report from UCA News.

“For more than a year, Muslim youths from a neighboring village accused us of practicing witchcraft and told us to leave the village,” said one of the victims, Ramni Das. “They abused us in public and threw bricks at our houses.”
The South Asian nation of 169 million is nearly 90% Muslim, nearly 10% Hindu, and only 0.2% Catholic.
