Polish president meets with Pope

Pope Francis received President Andrzej Duda of Poland in audience on November 9.
According to the Holy See Press Office, the two discussed the upcoming World Youth Day in Kraków, the promotion of the family, assistance to the needy, and international issues such as the European migrant crisis, the war in Ukraine, and the situation in the Middle East.
Duda, 43, was elected president in a closely-contested race in May. He assumed office in August.
