Lithuanian president meets with Pontiff

Pope Francis met on October 29 with Lithuania's President Dalia Grybauskaite, for a conversation that centered on Church-state relations.
A brief Vatican statement released after the meeting indicated that the Pontiff also spoke with the Lithuanian leader about the European immigration crisis, the conflict in Ukraine, and the threats to peace in the Middle East.
