Sydney archbishop speaks on religious liberty, democracy

Australia’s leading prelate, Archbishop Anthony Fisher of Sydney, delivered an address on October 14 on democracy and religious liberty.

In his address, he explored Pope Francis’s theology, used it “as a prism through which to examine the state of democracy in contemporary Australia,” and asked “how we might preserve a space for religious liberty in Australia.”
