Survey: non-Catholics view Pope more favorably following US visit

65% of non-Catholics in the US have a favorable view of Pope Francis-- up from 64% in February and 58% in June, according to a survey conducted by the Pew Research Center.
14% of non-Catholics have an unfavorable view of Pope Francis, while 21% say they cannot rate him.
Among all surveyed Catholics, 90% had a favorable view of Pope Francis in February, 86% in June, and 81% in October. 4% have an unfavorable view of him, while 15% say they cannot rate him. Among surveyed Catholics who attend Mass at least weekly, 84% now have a favorable view, and 5% have an unfavorable view.
