Pope encourages the sick to focus on Christ

Pope Francis met with about 400 sick people and their escorts before his public audience on Wednesday, September 30.
The Pope stopped in the Paul VI auditorium before his regular weekly audience, to greet participants in the annual pilgrimage to Lourdes organized by the Knights of Malta. The Holy Father expressed his sympathy for the sick, encouraging them to put their faith in Jesus, "who took upon Himself all our diseases, to the Cross."
