English Channel prelates appeal for compassion for refugees
September 24, 2015
Three Catholic and Anglican prelates on both sides of the English Channel issued an appeal for compassion for the thousands of migrants and refugees who have gathered in Calais, France, in the hope of entering the United Kingdom.
“These vulnerable men, women and children share in our common humanity, and everyone can help them to live in dignity and contribute to civil society,” the prelates said in their statement.
