Papal parade to take place during Pope’s visit to Washington

The Archdiocese of Washington has announced that a papal parade will take place on September 23 following Pope Francis’s visit to the White House.
“Participants are invited to line the streets on the Ellipse and National Mall to cheer on Pope Francis as he drives by in the Popemobile,” the archdiocese stated on its papal visit website, which offers additional details related to time, location, and security.
