Open-air confessions in St. Peter's Square planned for Year of Mercy

Dozens of priests will hear confessions in St. Peter’s Square during one of the events planned for the Year of Mercy.
“During the Jubilee for the youth, St Peter’s Square will be transformed into a huge open air confessional,” said Archbishop Rino Fisichella, the president of the Pontifical Council for New Evangelization, who has been given primary responsibility for planning the Jubilee Year schedule.
The April 23 event in St. Peter’s Square is part of a larger event for young people.
