Defeat for Indiana diocese, Our Sunday Visitor in HHS mandate case

In a 2-1 decision, the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the Obama administration’s implementation of the HHS mandate does not impose a “substantial burden” on the free exercise of religion.
Organizations that were challenging the implementation of the mandate included Biola University, Our Sunday Visitor, the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, and diocesan charities.
