Papal tribute to St. Teresa of Avila, 'master of prayer'

In a message to an international conference on St. Teresa of Avila, Pope Francis said that study of this “master of prayer” should help participants find the source of the truths that are a reliable guide in life.
The Pope’s message was sent to the Interuniversity Congress on St. Teresa, held this week at Avila and organized by the Catholic University of Santa Teresa de Jesus de Avila. The conference is part of a series of events celebrating the 500th anniversary of her birth.
