Chastity speaker, nurse among winners of pro-life award

July 29, 2015

A chastity speaker and a nurse were among the three winners of the 2015 People of Life Award, an honor bestowed by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Secretariat of Pro-Life Activities.

Molly Kelly was particularly active as a speaker in the 1980s and 1990s, traveling to all 50 states as well as to Australia, Canada, and Great Britain.

Also receiving the award were Nancy Valko, former president of Missouri Nurses for Life and current spokesman for the National Association of Pro-Life Nurses, and Michael Taylor, executive director of the National Committee for a Human Life Amendment.
