Ukrainian Catholic leader blasts same-sex marriage proposal

But if Ukraine embraces the Soviet Union/Russia, Ukraine will forever disappear from the face of the earth. It will forever live under the Russian boot, which has brought it sadness and denigration through all of history. The Ukrainian language, its arts and literature will forever be second-class and suppressed, like they were for centuries by their "brothers," the Russians. The very identity of the Ukrainian people will be trashed. And the Ukrainian Catholic Church will forever be given "religious freedom" only when they tightly shut their door and never venture out into the open. The Catholic Church will always be labeled as illegitimate and will be prohibited from any activities. If the Russian Orthodox Church now constantly complains about alleged "illegitimate proselytizing" by the Catholic Church, what will happen when they are the boss, and on top of the heap by authority of Russian law? Personally, I'd rather dispute and fight within the European Union rather than fight and dispute with Comrade Putin! I'd rather face a gay army than the Russian persecutors any day!
