Oratorians mark 500th anniversary of founder's birth

Members of the Confederation of the Oratory gathered in Florence to mark the 500th anniversary of the birth of their founder, St. Philip Neri.

Following Mass, Eucharistic adoration, and a prayer vigil on July 20, Oratorians visited the saint's birthplace on the morning of July 21. Cardinal Giuseppe Bertori is scheduled to preside at a solemn Mass at the cathedral in the evening.
