Planned Parenthood senior official caught discussing business in fetal organs

July 14, 2015

An undercover investigation by the Center for Medical Progress has captured video footage of a top Planned Parenthood official discussing the organization’s business in the sale of organs from aborted babies.

In the video, which was made public July 14, Deborah Nucatola, the senior medical director for the Planned Parenthood Federation, describes how the procedure for late-term abortions is altered to preserve vital organs. “We’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver…,” she says.

By offering organs for sale, Planned Parenthood would appear to be in violation of federal law, which prohibits the purchase or sale of fetal body parts. And the procedure that Nucatola describes in the video may be a partial-birth abortion, which is also illegal.
