Jihadist group targets Christians in Kenya attack

Al-Shabaab, a jihadist terrorist group based in Somalia, killed at least 14 workers in a July 7 attack on a quarry in Mandera, Kenya.
An Al-Shabaab spokesman told the Reuters news agency that it targeted Christians in the attack.
Morning Star News, a news agency that focuses on the persecution of Christians, reported that both Catholics and Protestants were slain in the attack. “One Catholic family in Nyeri lost five of their grown children,” according to the report.
