Report: head of pontifical council under investigation for embezzlement

Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, the president of the Pontifical Council for the Family, is under investigation by Italian police for alleged “embezzlement and price fixing during the sale of an historic castle,” Agence France-Presse reported.

The sale took place in 2011, when the prelate was bishop of Terni-Narni-Amelia.
