American donor leads fundraising in Irish campaign for same-sex marriage

An Irish-American financier, Chuck Feeney, has been the leading financial supporter of a campaign for legal acceptance of same-sex marriage in Ireland.

As Irish voters prepare to take part in a nationwide referendum on the subject, Feeney discloses that he has funneled about $28 million into various efforts promote acceptance of homosexuality in Ireland.

    If Ireland is conned into this acceptance of whatever it is, the Irish nation will have degraded itself and rejected its history and soul. Some used to call homo-sex the English Disease. Looks like the English will have the last laugh. Outsiders like Cromwell are still controlling Irish lives, only now they have enlisted an American to help them in their work.
