Pope Francis to celebrate outdoor Mass in Washington

Pope Francis’s Mass for the canonization of Blessed Junipero Serra will be celebrated outdoors, outside the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, according to a statement from the Catholic University of America.

University officials “have not yet decided how they will handle ticketing” for the September 23 Mass, The Washington Post reported.
