Vatican official offers Mass for Tunis terrorist victims

April 10, 2015

Participants in a recent meeting of the Apostleship of the Sea, chaired by the secretary for the Pontifical Council for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerants, emphasized that dialogue with Islam is a vital need for Christians, and not a mere option, according to L’Osservatore Romano.

Celebrating Mass in France for the victims of the recent Bardo National Museum attack in Tunis, Bishop Joseph Kalathiparambil said that “it is difficult for us to understand the logic of these terrorist attacks … But surely we should not respond with greater violence.”
