Italian cardinal 'amazed' by anger toward Dolce & Gabbana

The president of the Italian bishops’ conference said that he is “amazed” by the furor roused by a statement from the designers Dolce and Gabbana in defense of traditional marriage.

Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco of Genoa remarked that he was struck by the angry criticism of the avowedly homosexual designers, especially because “there is constant talk of freedom of expression.”

    We're gradually catching on to the fact this is secular orthodoxy. No dissent permitted. Tolerance was a cover for many years and that veneer is peeling. Finally. It's not unlike freedom to choose. Look at how the women who choose to abort or forego family and kids ridicule the stay at home mothers or women who refuse contraception. The words don't match the deeds.
