Pope receives Taizé leader

Pope Francis received Brother Alois, the prior of the Taizé Community, in a private audience on March 16.
According to a statement from the French ecumenical monastic community, the Pope was “very attentive to the ecumenical vocation of the community” and to its outreach to youth. Brother Alois thanked the Pope for declaring a jubilee year of mercy.
