Italian company's billboard of partially clothed 'nun' sparks protests

At Italian fashion company has sparked controversy with a billboard showing a model partially dressed as a nun, with her hands, holding a rosary, clasped across her bare chest.

Rosso di Sera, the company that placed the billboard, reacted to angry protests by saying that the image was “a strong marketing choice, but there was no intent to blaspheme.” The company’s statement claimed: “Trivializing the act of prayer was not the intention in any way.”
