Cardinal calls for negotiations in Burma

Myanmar’s first cardinal has called for dialogue between the nation’s army and rebel groups, including the Kachin Independence Army.
Addressing 50,000 pilgrims at a Marian shrine, Cardinal Charles Maung Bo called for an end to the conflicts that have caused an estimated 200,000 people to flee their homes.
