Report: 77% of world lives under severe restrictions on religious freedom

77% of the world’s population lives under “high or very high” restrictions on religion—up from 68% in 2007, according to the Pew Research Center.
The report also found that “Christians were harassed, either by government or social groups, in 102 of the 198 countries included in the study.”

Try explaining at your local university or Catholic Center at the university the theological and scientific basis for Catholic prohibitions against contraception and abortion. Just mention in the public square the Catholic moral norm that homosexual acts are a species of lust, even though homosexual persons are children of God suffering from an objective disorder. Ask why so many Catholic institutions have to close their doors these days.
