South Sudan: bishop welcomes postponement of elections
February 19, 2015
A Cathoilc bishop in South Sudan has welcomed the postponement of elections that had been scheduled for June.
In a radio interview, Bishp Edward Hiiboro Kusala of Tombura-Yambio said that the postponement was a prudent decision, allowing time for a census, the drafting of a constitution, and further efforts to end a civil war that erupted in December 2013.
