Minnesota archdiocese lists $45 million in assets, over $100 million in potential liabilities, in bankruptcy filing

The Archdiocese of St. Paul-Minneapolis, Minnesota has listed financial assets of $45.2 million and current liabilities of $15.9 million, in a filing with a federal bankruptcy court.
The archdiocese, which filed for bankruptcy protection in January, explained that it expects to face $50 to $100 million more in liabilities as a result of lawsuits filed by sex-abuse victims.
