Conversion, prayer, holiness necessary for Christian unity, says Pope
January 26, 2015
Pope Francis met with participants in an ecumenical gathering of religious on January 24 and said that “religious life has a particular vocation” to promote Christian unity.
The gather was organized by the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life.
“There is no unity without conversion,” the Pope said. “There is no unity without prayer … There is no unity without holiness of life.”
