Polish priest to lead Holy See’s UN mission in Vienna

Pope Francis has named Msgr. Janusz Urbanczyk, a Polish priest ordained in 1992, as the Holy See’s representative at UN offices in Vienna.
Msgr. Urbanczyk previously worked in the Holy See’s mission to the UN in New York.
Msgr. Urbanczyk will also represent the Holy See at the International Atomic Energy Agency, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization, and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.
