US labor secretary: minimum-wage increase is biblical issue

The Obama administration's drive to raise the minimum wage is "really about biblical teaching," the Secretary of Labor claims.
Tom Perez told a Washington audience: "This is about what is taught in the Qu'ran and what is in the Torah and what we learn about making sure we 'do unto others.'"
