Italian president applauds Pope's call for action against human trafficking

Italy’s President Giorgio Napolitano has written to Pope Francis calling for an “unflinching” battle against human trafficking.
Napolitano wrote in response to the Pope’s call for an end to slavery. The Italian leader said that he shares the Pope’s determination to curb “the exploitation of prostitution, hiring undocumented labor, corruption, and human trafficking.”
