Vatican newspaper lauds new Nobel laureates

In a brief front-page article, L’Osservatore Romano welcomed the selection of Malala Yousafzai of Pakistan and Kailash Satyarthi of India as winners of the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize.

Describing the award as a “Nobel of courage,” the newspaper noted that the two have fought extremism and struggled on behalf of the rights of children.
