President Obama, Chicago archbishop discuss immigration

November 26, 2014

Archbishop Blase Cupich of Chicago met with President Barack Obama on November 25 to discuss immigration reform.

Describing the meeting as “delightful,” Archbishop Cupich said that “the president brought up that it’s important for faith communities-- like the Church-- that have a good footprint within [immigrant] communities to help them so they are not taken advantage of,” the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
