Uganda's President Museveni meets with Pontiff

Pope Francis met on October 27 with Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni, for a conversation that centered on peaceful coexistence in the African country.
The Pope spoke with Museveni about conflicts in Uganda and in neighboring countries. The two also discussed Church-state relations and the contributions of Catholic institutions to Uganda’s educational and health-care systems.
