Pope meets with Bavarian soccer team

Pope Francis met on October 22 with Bayern Munich, a German soccer team that was in Rome for a soccer game.
The team presented the Pontiff with a shirt, and the Pope gave each player a rosary.
According to Vatican Radio, the team pledged to donate 1 million euros to the Pope’s charities from the proceeds of a game that will be held during the next year.
